DATABASES
The Database "Antarctic" is an electronic information database on compact disks and database management system (DBMS) under MS Access-2000, which contains the data, received by SE PMGE in Antarctic during the surveys of 25th – 41st SAE (RAE) with the use of methods presented in following table.

Compact disks contain raw and processed data, the information on geodetic and hydrographic provision of surveys, the data on methods and type of the works and the main graphic materials from reports. The database management system is accompanied by the instruction of the user (the help file) and demo file of graphics, texts and tables of marine surveys.
The Database "Antarctic-47" is a continuation of the previous base. The seismic and radar data were added, acquired by SE PMGRE in the course of investigations of 43d – 47th RAE.

The new database management system was developed and the help file was renewed. The demo files of the seismic works were created for each region of the studies: Riiser-Larsen Sea and Cosmonauts Sea . Also the demo file was created of the thematic mapping for Indian-Atlantic sector of the Antarctic marginal seas on the basis of seismic, gravimetric and hydromagnetic data.
CDPM – common-depth-point method
RMS – refraction method soundings
CBRM – central beam reflection method
ECWM – earthquaking converted waves method
